How do you turn a solitary 24,000-mile race into an intimate, front-row seat for millions of people?
To bring fans closer to the action of the legendary Vendée Globe, Charal transformed traditional sponsorship into immersive entertainment. With 32 onboard cameras and 6 snackable episodes, sailor Jérémie Beyou shared his solo journey around the world, filmed over 48 months of preparation. Accessible via QR codes in French supermarkets, the series reached 2.5 million views and 3.1 million media impressions, making it the most successful branded content in Charal’s history.
By embedding cameras directly into the boat’s structure and turning every moment at sea into a cinematic experience, Charal offered a raw, emotional window into human resilience, solitude, and survival. It was more than a race, it was a story of strength, connection, and how technology can bring distant adventures into people’s everyday lives.
